Photoshop surprisingly uncooperative. Resorting to corporeal punishment.

Computer working, YAY. Power-switch buggy though, so case'll need replacing when I can be bother. Also, a tad concerned at the missing case-plates in the front and back...hopefully two big fans'll keep it busy for now.

Spore...fun game...couple issues. Stage by stage rundown.

Cell Stage.
To be honest, a tad pointless. You go from a few-celled organism to a fairly small fish. You get a bit of variety, but not as much I'd I'd expect, considering. Really, I would have liked a full blow fish stage.

Beast Stage.
Much fun, although a tad limited in what you can do with your creature. Still, creature morphing is very versatile, that you can't evolve your creature after this stage was a tad irksome.
That and the fact that it pretty much ignores the oceans. I really wanted that big fish stage...although, I hear an expansion pack gives you exactly that...

Tribe.
Amusing, although I would have liked more unit options and, more importantly, to be able to customize your tribes crude instruments to better reflect their physiology.

Civilisation.
The building and vehicle design is great, and there's a certain feeling you get when you see a town's leader surrender to your forces in a little cinematic. I was grossly disappointing with the lack of clothing parts in this and the space stage though.

Kinda shame that sticking lots of guns on a vehicle doesn't make it shoot more, just harder...

Space Stage.
i've heard a lot of flak about this stage, but for me its the best of all of them.

Ship designing is much fun, especially considering how many franchises you can rip off. In all the editing from Tribe onward I particularly like how you can crank up or pull back the features of an object I.e bigger and more/virtually no spikes at the pull of a scale. Still, lack of clothing parts angers me. You'd think they'd at least have an option for a figure-tight bodysuit...

Breaks physics in a couple places (Since when did blackholes have lighting arcs?), but being able to graffiti on a planetary scale is good fun.

Space Pirates make me angry, but in a good way. I just wish I had some way of securely knowing if a planet's defenses good enough to stop the invasion before I get there without making me waste a trip.

Abducting aliens is fun. So's stealing a planets atmosphere because they won't open a trade route with you. So's forcefully mutating the locals into a phallic symbol.


In Other News,

Jacko's dead. I still say this is a publicity stunt. They'll be a big memorial event with thousands of fans, and he'll rise from below the stage and break into Thriller.

Other than that, I think Blanket should become President Obama's superhero sidekick.


Internet capped, but goes off tomorrow (somewhen...)huzzah. Hopefully will last at least three of the four weeks before it gets capped again...
